Join Minyan Na'aleh for Kol Nidre Services
Minyan Na'aleh will be meeting for a spiritually energizing Kol Nidre service on Yom Kippur Eve, Sunday, September 27 at 6:30 PM sharp. Please read below for important information about obtaining your free ticket for this service. We hope you will join us on Kol Nidre night.
TIME AND PLACE: Kol Nidre will begin at 6:30 pm sharp, Sunday, September 27. We will be meeting at BMH-BJ Synagogue, 560 South Monaco Parkway, Denver, CO 80224. We are very grateful to BMH-BJ for generously providing us with space for the service. There will obviously be several services going on at BMH-BJ that evening; signs will direct you to the Na'aleh service.
TICKETS: For security reasons, a ticket and photo ID are required for entry into BMH-BJ on Kol Nidre night. Tickets for the Minyan Na'aleh service are FREE but you MUST obtain your ticket in advance. To reserve your free ticket, you must SIGN UP HERE by Friday, September 18 at 5:00 PM (and by September 11 if you want register for children's programming). We will be distributing tickets the week prior to Yom Kippur. Click HERE to sign up for your free ticket.
BABYSITTING / CHILDREN'S PROGRAM: Participants in the Minyan Na'aleh Kol Nidre service are invited to send their children to the excellent children's programming at BMH-BJ for a nominal fee. Age-appropriate children's programming is offered for children age 6 months to 6th Grade from 6:15-9:00 pm. The cost is $10 and you must register your children by signing up prior to September 11.
THE SERVICE: Our Kol Nidre service will be spiritually energizing, with all of the traditional liturgy and lots of lively singing. It will be "Orthodox egalitarian" style, with a woman leading Kol Nidre and a man leading ma'ariv. Seating will be with a "tri-chitza" with three sections for men, women, andpeople who prefer mixed seating.
OTHER HIGH HOLIDAY SERVICES: Na'aleh will only be offering a Kol Nidre service. However, your Na'aleh Kol Nidre ticket entitles you to admission to all other high holiday services offered by BMH-BJ free of charge (a donation to BMH-BJ is requested if you attend other high holiday services there). If you would like to attend BMH-BJ services on Rosh Hashana, please SIGN UP HERE as soon as possible so that we may get you your ticket prior to Rosh Hashanah. We will also be distributing information on other high holiday services offered by other synagogues, some of which are free. Please watch this space for more information.
